The Congressional Progressive Caucus task forces work to advance the CPC's mission of justice, dignity, and peace for all. Each group will work to move forward legislation and organizing on key issue areas, including convening stakeholders, developing policy and legislative recommendations, and engaging the public in their important work.

The caucus, which consists of 95 House members and one Senator, has been the leading voice calling for bold and sweeping solutions to the urgent crises facing this nation, including ending America’s broken for-profit health care system, raising the minimum wage, eliminating political corruption, bolstering labor protections for working families, and taking swift action to stop the warming of our planet.

WASHINGTON — Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Representative Pramila Jayapal (WA-07) called on House leadership to advance legislation that would strengthen Social Security and increase benefits. In a new letter to Speaker Pelosi, the CPC Chair advocates for H.R.5723, Social Security 2100: A Sacred Trust to be quickly brought to the floor for passage in the House of Representatives.

The Congessional Progressive Caucus doesn't support H.R. 82.
Please contact them and ask them the reasons why they support a partial repeal of WEP & GPO and not a full repeal.
That could be keeping some of their 95 members from supporting H.R. 82.
