On August 10, 2019, I entered a Wendy’s to use restroom. Upon entrance, I was on the floor which was extremely slippery. I noticed a few people on the inside dining. I dropped cell phone and keys which slid up by restroom door. I grabbed my cell and keys and went in to restroom where I called my daughter to tell her of incident. I left out and called back and asked for manager who answered. I informed her of what happened. She said she will call me back once she find out what to do. I drove to Greenville to MedDirect which I informed manager. I also put in claim online. I didn’t think it was a major injury since fell on my knees but a month or so later found out I had two herniated discs. Of course, my claim was denied and got an attorney who found out they filed bankruptcy. I’m stuck with life long injury due to their negligence. I just want to be compensated for excruciating pain I have to live with and limited activities. I don’t have a lot of medical bills due to trying not to create bills for me since claim was denied. If I could find a person who was there on that day, it’ll help my claim. The location was Tarboro, North Carolina at the time was around 3:30 pm. This is my last attempt for help to get compensation.
