For decades Naperville, Ill, has been embroiled in a fierce debate concerning the correct pronunciation of the town's name. We want the local government and citizens alike to do away with the arguments and put to rest any doubts about the name or how it is pronounced.

Therefore we created this petition to raise awareness and finally call Naperville by its God given name. NAP-er-ville. And NOT Naper-ville.

Help us to end once and for all this acrimonious debate for the good of all citizens, children and homeless people of NAPerville and surrounding areas.
