I as many among me are not happy with the fact that the word rice has the same word as it's singular and plural form. As this product of stores and product from plants has done so much for our society in ancient Asia, the least we could do for the word itself is give it a nice name. It cultivated the speed and many different aspects of the asian cultures (China, both Koreas, Japan, etc.) The end goal and problem it would solve is the unrest of the word not having an as valuable name in the grammatical sense for what the food has done for the human race.
