We are still waiting for justice for the dogs who suffered at Kinship Companion Kennels at the hands of Christy Tuchel, Anthony Keyport, and Breanna Mikula…but the stall tactics continue on.
Anthony Keyport has now asked to have the trial postponed. The trial had previously been postponed from a prior February date. A few weeks ago, Christy Tuchel failed to appear at the May 15th motion hearing.
Judge L. Edward Stengel is expected to consider the motion to adjourn Keyport’s trial at a hearing on June 6, when Keyport and two other defendants are scheduled to make what's expected to be their last pre-trial court appearances.
Both of the other defendants — Christy Rose Tuchel, 39, and her daughter Breanna Ambrielle Mikula, 21 — filed motions earlier this month asking a judge to drop charges and to suppress evidence in the case. Stengel has yet to rule on those motions.
What next?
We demand justice for the dogs who died and suffered at the hands of these abusers.
