At Regency House of Port Charlotte - A Condominium, Inc. here in Port Charlotte, Florida, our social room has always been the heart of gatherings and celebrations. It's a place where friendships are made and cherished memories are born. Unfortunately, over the years, wear and tear and a lack of priority have taken their toll, leaving the space outdated and in need of crucial updates.

As members of this vibrant community, we've been actively running an online garage sale with the sole objective of raising funds for renovating our social room. It's been a fantastic way to involve everyone interested in participating, allowing us to share unique items and stories while working towards a common goal. However, recent objections have threatened the continuation of this initiative, attempting to pause on our collective progress.

Our online garage sale is not just about items changing hands; it's about community spirit and teamwork. Through every donation, people contribute to a cause that aims to improve our community space for everyone to enjoy. The funds we raise are set to be used for essential updates—painting, new furniture, new lighting and more —to make our social room welcoming and functional for gatherings of all kinds.

We believe that the freedom to continue this initiative is vital. It embodies our commitment to see our vision of a renewed social area come to life. Participating members who have signed this petition elect Beth Davi, an association member, to actively organize, maintain records and cash from the sales of items on our behalf.  Updates will be provided and donated to Regency House of Port Charlotte - A Condominium, Inc.  as the result of sales permit by providing new furnishings, painting, etc.

As of the end of June we have raised more than $5,300 with an estimated project cost of $7,500.
