S.W.A.T. fans fought hard to save the show after CBS canceled it following Season 7. Our efforts paid off — we got Season 8. But now, instead of continuing the show we love, we’re being given a spin-off: S.W.A.T.: Exiles.

The new series will follow Hondo as he comes out of forced retirement to train a new, untested team after a high-profile case goes wrong. While we respect the creators and cast, this feels more like a reboot than a true continuation of S.W.A.T.

Why We’re Signing:

We’re incredibly disappointed. Many S.W.A.T. fans have already spoken out, and the message is clear:

🔹 We didn’t campaign for a reboot.

🔹 We campaigned for Season 9 of the original show.

🔹 We want to continue the story of the characters we love: Hondo, Deacon, Tan, Hicks, Powell, Gamble, and Alfaro — not just see them referenced or cameoed.

We understand networks often choose spin-offs because they can be cheaper or easier to produce. But there were other options: reduce the number of episodes per season, move to streaming, or find a new network. A spin-off wasn’t the only path forward.

As of now, S.W.A.T.: Exiles doesn’t even have a confirmed home. So let’s raise our voices before it’s finalized.

What We Want:

✅ A proper S.W.A.T. Season 9

✅ A continuation of the original storyline

✅ The full team — not just a rebooted version
