We, the students and parents of Harmony School of Innovation, are deeply concerned about the recent decision to ask our beloved high school counselor, Mehmet Can AKA Mr.Can, to leave due to district budget cuts. This decision not only impacts our counselor but also jeopardizes the academic and emotional well-being of every student at our school. We urge the school district to reconsider this decision and find alternative solutions without compromising the essential support systems our students rely on.

Our high school counselor, Mehmet Can, has been an integral part of our school community for many years. Their role extends far beyond scheduling classes and college applications. Mr. Can is one of the kindest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. He always greets students with a warm smile and a genuine interest in how they’re doing. His office is a safe haven where everyone feels welcome and understood.Mr.Can cares deeply about each student, showing compassion about helping each student with their problems. Whether it's helping with personal problems, academic concerns, or future plans, he is always there to lend a hand. Helping students brings Mr.Can genuine happiness. It’s clear that he finds joy in seeing us succeed and grow. His dedication to our well-being and success makes a huge difference in our lives, and we are incredibly grateful for his support.
