It has come to our attention and is now a concern due to the lack of communication and/or the transparency given to the invested members of the Black Lake First Nation from the Chief & Council and the Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund Board of Trustees. Regarding the use and management of The Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund to what or where it stands in account to date! 

And being that of the current Chief with whom is attending Court proceedings on December 16th 2021 in Saskatoon, SK at the Court of Queens Bench involving the Trearty #8 Benefit Trust Fund investment(s) that had went forth without the majority of BLFN members consent and to withhold the transparency to all relations of the Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund that had or has yet to be negotiated upon behind closed doors. Leaving no transparency giving to the membership of the BLFN  in regards to the management of Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund.

Making it hard to entrust the Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund investment in the care of the BLFN Treaty-8 board of Trustees. And also to mention the Chief & Council in which was not suppose to have anything to do with the Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund to begin with.

NO leadership should be putting forward any information without the consent of the BLFN members or any letter or documents retaining the members consent in voting or else it is not legal to provide to the court on behalf of the Black Lake First Nation members.

This petition is to demand the release of Transparency with all relations involving the Treaty #8 Benefit Trust Fund to the members of The Black Lake First Nation.
