It's time we take a stand on all issues that negatively impact our culture.  WE TV new series "Love Thy Sister" is everything but love, when grown-ups allow children to behave in a way that is disrespectful.  We must say no to things that are detrimental to the minds of young people.  And while there are many things in our society now that are void of moral consciousness, we can only take on this elephant, one bite at a time.

I am asking you to sign this petition so that sponsors will not back this show and that we as a collective people will say "NO" again to something that does not reflect the moral consciousness of our community.  When I saw the nine year old, Riley, cursing…at the permission of her mother…like a grown person in the street, it broke my heart.  This is violent behavior for a child and if her mother doesn’t see that this is clearly detrimental to the welfare of her child then the village must help her. 

I am asking you to sign this petition for children everywhere.  I am asking you to say "NO"...this is not who we are and we will not be portrayed in this light.  I am asking you to take a stand if "Black Lives Matter" to you.  I am asking you to stand if “Children Matter”.  I am asking you to stand against the negative images portrayed as our reality.   I am asking you to say "NO" to WE TV on this one.  WE TV must know they got it wrong on this one and we will not support the demeaning and demoralizing reflection of the “Black Family”.  It takes a village and we as a village must speak up and save our children…families and communities.   “WE” as a Black Community know what it means to “LOVE thy sister” and WE definitely know what it means to “LOVE” thy neighbor, which is why we cannot support this show.

We must all stand as a village and speak with one voice and put an end to WE TV’s clear disregard for the welfare of children and family by the airing of this show “Love Thy Sister”.
