We the People of the U.S. Join the U.N. in Condemning Russian Use of Force in Ukraine

The Issue

As citizens of the United States, we are disappointed and ashamed that the U.S. government is refusing to co-sponsor the overwhelmingly adopted United Nations resolution to condemn Russian aggression. We are using our constitutional First Amendment right to free speech to say that we stand with the U.N. and Ukraine in backing Kyiv's territorial integrity. We are deeply alarmed by the worsening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine as attacks inflict death, injury, and suffering to ordinary citizens.

Along with the United Nations, we demand that Russia immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine, and we call for a cessation of hostilities.
