We Pledge to complain and report annoying, intrusive and inappropriate advertising
The Issue
As a society, we are constantly bombarded with advertising and commercials everywhere, all the time especially while trying to enjoy shows and videos online and on TV.
This is a personal issue for me, as well as many others.
We are being forced to see, listen and watch these advertisements ..
All the time everywhere ! when we subscribe, pay and view shows, walk down the street, use an app, read a magazine, listen to a podcast, use social media.
Especially as a condition of viewing content on platforms such as Prime, Netflix, Hulu and other video services.
These ads often promote products or services that we have no interest in or cannot use. Worse still, many of these advertisements turn out to be scams or require us to do something we don't want to do or buy something we cannot afford. Sometimes on credit !
The advertisers who display these advertisements and the companies that fund these commercials are wasting their money by targeting an uninterested audience.
Accordingly, this petition calls for people who share this sentiment - those tired of the relentless advertising and commercial bombardment - to make a pledge:
To notify and complain to the advertiser / company / organization about these ads !
By doing so, we can send a clear message about our dissatisfaction with the current state of advertising. It's time for change in how our attention and lives are being monetized !
