B.S.L.   (Breed Specific Legislation) targets breeds of dogs rather the the real problem. People who abuse, hurt and use these dogs for Dog Fighting and as status symbols. It has nothing to do with the realities of the breeds affected or their true natures. It does not cut down on or end dog bite attacks and in fact encourages Drug dealers, Gang members etc to view these dogs as money spinners and status symbols. These laws target responsible and caring owners rather than reflecting the true problem

We ask that these laws are altered to better represent the true picture by 

a) Giving a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years for people involved in Dog Fighting and the seizure of all their assets with these assets to be sold and the proceeds used for the rehabilitation and Veterinary treatment of these dogs.

b) That all dogs must go through a minimum six month rehabilitation and assessment period before being labelled as dangerous and liable to destruction
