We reach out to you today as architects, engineers, contractors, developers, investors, realtors, financing institutions, and other development industry professionals. We are seeking your input to help develop efficiencies in city policies and processes.

At this time, COVID threatens considerable economic loss to our community, it is crucial that we work together with the City of Bozeman to facilitate recovery by providing thoughtful insight and pragmatic suggestions needed to make lasting changes, smoother processes, and encourage economic growth through development. 

In the next few weeks, the City Commission is calling for the City Planning Commission to finalize its revision of the Growth Policy (a policy that is meant to last at least five years) which will eventually impact the Unified Development Code (UDC).  We are asking you to sign this petition so that any votes to be made as they relate to moving the Growth Policy from the Planning Commission to the City Commission are TABLED for the time being.  We feel it’s vital that any changes be made as part of a larger, more, in-depth discussion.

Your input with past and present experiences, good or bad, is essential for improving these policies and processes. Please sign this petition to voice your support!

In the coming days, you also will receive anonymous survey(s) to share some of your experiences and rank different aspects of how policy and process inefficiencies have negatively impacted our industry and our clients. These surveys will allow us to further address issues and create solutions for the community and its economy--and they will make this a lasting request for change that is a matter of public record.
