We need Parking! Relocate Bike Station!

The Issue

Don’t take away parking!
We, the residents, business owners, and visitors, respectfully request the removal or relocation of the Divvy bike station currently located at Arlington Place/Clark Street

This station is occupying valuable curbside parking, which is already in short supply in our neighborhood. The loss of these spaces directly impacts:

Residents who rely on street parking, especially those without garages.
Local businesses, whose customers depend on convenient, short-term parking.
Visitors, who may be discouraged from shopping or dining due to limited access.
We are not opposed to Divvy or bike-sharing and we e support sustainable transit options. But we ask that Divvy and the City of Chicago work with our community to find a more appropriate location that doesn’t sacrifice essential parking in a dense, high-demand area.

Please support our effort to restore fairness and balance in how shared resources like curb space   Please share your concern at yourvoice@ward43.org and sign our petition …….winter is coming and parking will be even more limited

Sincerely,
Concerned Residents & Business Owners
