"Darling in the Franxx" is an anime set in a dystopian future where humanity is on the brink of extinction due to giant creatures called Klaxosaurs. To combat them, children are raised in isolation and trained to pilot mechs known as Franxx. The story follows Hiro, a former prodigy who lost his ability to pilot, and Zero Two, a mysterious girl with Klaxosaur blood. Together, they become partners and lead a group of pilots in battles against the Klaxosaurs while uncovering the secrets of their world and their own identities.
