We need coastal bus routes in Edinburgh

We need coastal bus routes in Edinburgh
The Issue
Call upon the City of Edinburgh and East Lothian Council to establish dedicated and frequent bus routes to serve coastal communities.
The Problem: The lack of direct coastal bus routes in Edinburgh forces passengers to rely on indirect routes and multiple transfers going into and out-of the city. This makes journeys unnecessarily long and discourages sustainable travel between these vibrant communities.
The Need: Dedicated coastal bus routes in Edinburgh that avoid the city would provide numerous benefits:
Improved connectivity
Reduced travel times
Encouragement of sustainable transport
Proposed Route: We propose two frequent bus routes
(a) Between Leith and Musselburgh
(b) Between Leith and Cramond
Timetables would be coordinated at Leith to facilitate easy transfers and minimise waiting times.
