We need a swing park and kids/youth club in Altonhill ❤️⚽️⛳️⛹️
The Issue
On behalf of th majority of parents in Altonhill, kilmarnock we would love nothing more than a play park built in our community everywhere else seems to have one apart from here in Altonhill we have a big green field next to our houses that doesn’t get used I’m hoping with this petition it reaches east Ayrshire council or some councillors take note and get the ball rolling there is absolutely nothing here for the kids in this community to do or somewhere to go or play apart from roads which isn’t good enough also we don’t have our community centre anymore.
Im a mum myself I’m a auntie and friend to all the kids in my scheme I do as much as I can with them all everyday throughout the year with the help of all there parents it would make such a difrence if there where somewhere for the kids to play we also have a community centre that is of no use to the people of Altonhill community it was the heart of the place at one time it had youth clubs bingo nights and kids clubs you name it ran by local people….also where this community once all came together! it should be handed back to the people that belong here also for all the kids that belong here to have the use out it and for storage for all the things we have bought the kids over the years we always take over to the field to play all summer and come winter my house is like a youth club it would be good if the kids all had the community centre to go to I do everything of my own back as do all the parents we are a good team!we have been funded recently by Wendy Mac Donald which was very much appreciated by us all.
We just think now is the time to get a play park and youth club BACK here for all the kids of this community there is to many kids with zero things to do and places to go in my opinion it would do the world of good and for all the people tht donated money to the Altonhill Minihillers group it was very much appreciated all goes to the kids in of this community.
