We the undersigned seek to inform Bishop Daniel, Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Sydney and affiliated regions, that we love and appreciate Father Abraham Rizk, parish priest of St Mina and St Anthony Coptic Orthodox Church, Helensvale, Gold Coast, Queensland.

We the below members of the community, either resident in the Gold Coast or visitor to the church, whether occasional or frequent, appreciate the service and guidance of Father Abraham Rizk to our church. 

Father Abraham has been active in the service of:

• praying the sacraments including 4 weekly liturgies
• youth, who make up a very large portion of our community, and many of whom are interstate and international students reliant on the church as a support to them
• Sunday School from angels to primary and high school
• pre-servants to increase the number of servants and improve their knowledge
• a support for English-speakers
• English-only services for those without an Egyptian background (eg. mixed marriages)
• visiting the sick
• organisation of spiritual meetings such as prayer meetings and spiritual days
• rebuilding relationships between members of the church community
• support to the Eritrean, Ethiopian and Indian Orthodox communities
• and many other services we are not aware of...

May God bless Fr Abraham's service, strengthen him, hasten his recovery, and reward him in both heaven and on earth.
