In Egypt, thousands of animals are subjected to abuse, torture, and neglect every day—with no strong law to protect them or punish the offenders. From poisoning street cats and dogs to violent treatment in pet shops and farms, the cruelty goes unpunished.

As concerned citizens and animal lovers, we call upon the Egyptian Parliament, Ministry of Agriculture, and all responsible authorities to:
 1. Enact a strict, clear law that criminalizes all forms of animal abuse.
 2. Enforce real penalties (fines and prison time) on offenders.
 3. Launch national awareness campaigns to educate the public about animal rights.
 4. Monitor pet shops, zoos, and farms for compliance.
 5. Support NGOs and rescue groups in their efforts to protect animals.

Animals feel pain, fear, and suffering just like humans. It’s time Egypt joins other nations in protecting the innocent and voiceless.
