The Multicultural Hub, part of the City of Melbourne has given permission to a group who openly support Venezuelan Dictatorship. 

Venezuelan dictatorship has forced thousands of Venezuelans to leave their country and finding refuge in other places; Australia is one of them. The news all over the world has been explicit in the explanation that Venezuela is a Narco- Government and its followers and people who work in the government have become millionaires due to money laundering and corruption. 

 The death toll in anti-government protests in Venezuela since April has reached 100, after a third death was reported from a day-long nationwide strike against embattled Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's rule. Venezuela is in the throes of a political and economic crisis that has led to shortages of basic goods and soaring inflation. Protesters are now contesting Maduro's plans to rewrite the country's constitution.

As members of the Venezuelan Community and Australian community, we feel a strong sense of indignation to know that the City of Melbourne has given permission to a group of people who support a cruelty dictatorship. For this reason, we ask the City of Melbourne to cancel this event.
