CDCR has failed the families and our loved ones to keep the connection between them. As othe prisons and jails have opened with no issues. As casinos, restaurants, stores and sports have found ways to resume safely, CDCR has continued to make excuses as to why they continue to keep families apart. The mental health decline to everyone involved. The divorce and separation rate has sky rocketed along with suicide and suicide attempts. This is unacceptable and the impact on our children alone is devastating. Using hand sanitizer, taking temperatures prior to entering is simple. Keeping families at a table and the next family six feet apart is not difficult. This virus is here, staff continues to infect along with transfers and CDCR allows it all. No regard to our loved ones! Yet they will fight us tooth and nail to keep families apart! We cannot continue to allow them to disregard us and the importance of our family!
