About the Willow Project
It sounds innocent at first, but the Willow Project is a massive oil and gas extraction that is soon going to occur in Alaska. The Willow Project in progress will produce over 180,000 barrels of oil per day. The Natural Petroleum Reserve is the area that this event is going to take place, it holds up to 600 million barrels of natural oil. This will be devastating for the residents of Alaska, the whole state will be affected.

How will this affect the whole world?

You may be wondering how exactly this affects everyone. Well, as more and more of our natural resources are being used up and taken away from our earth, our planet weakens more and more. The Willow Project is just 1% of what is going on, but it’s up to us to make the change one step at a time. You may not realize it, but our planet has already been clearly suffering and this Project will give long time effects to our planet. Again, this will be devastating to all who call the arctic home.

Why should anyone care?

Well why should anyone care? It’s only our homes we are talking about, everyone’s life including yours is at stake. Whether or not you believe it is, it is. You should care because you are a good person, but when your home is at stake, the only place you could be, is at stake. Why wouldn’t you want to do something about it? Stop before it’s too late and the government can no longer do anything or our world, the people, us, will suffer greatly.
