After the release of the New York State Comptroller’s Audit of Financial Management dated March 22, 2013, we the Taxpayers of Wayne Central School are demanding the resignations of Superintendent Renee Garrett and Assistant Superintendent for Business Gregory Asteff. Disclosure of the NYS Comptroller's Audit for the Wayne Central School exposed multiple years of over taxation of the taxpayers totaling over 20 million dollars. This document also revealed gross misuse of school funds unapproved by the public. In addition, excessive spending and creating false purchase orders were exposed. Excessive amounts of monies were reallocated and hidden into multiple reserves.
