Wawa is a staple within the Delaware Valley. It is not just a convenience store but a social gathering area of the community. And yet Temple University, or the area around it, does not have a Wawa. The closest Wawa is in spring garden, Race street and neither are that close to a train.

For people who have lived with Wawa, it is a shame that at a PA university there is not one close! There are some in Tampa Florida but not one North of Spring Garden street! Temple and developers are trying to redevelop the area of North Philadelphia. To do that, you need to bring a Wawa because to grow a community, it is more then opening a new residence hall but also by having a gathering place where people can say hi to one another while they are getting a cup of coffee and a sandwich for the day. That is how you get Temple Made.
