Silly Proposal to Fence off part of Bondi beach, and other ridiculous ideas

Seems like it's not the first time Janek Gazecki has sought DA consent for a self-serving proposal on public land - his 'Polo by the Sea' event at Christison Park (of all places) was rejected by Woollahra council in April 2020. One of the many reasons given was that 'the proposal was not considered to be in public interest'  You can view the proposal and response here (Page 251 DA283/2019/1)

But really the person who said it best is James Hutton, publisher of the Eastern suburbs fave local rag the Beast -

The talk of the town lately has been this silly proposal to fence off part of the beach at Bondi...Eastern Beaches locals are staunchly opposed to the privatisation of public space - and we're confident that our councillors would never allow something so tasteless to go ahead.
