As so many folks are voting absentee this year, we wanted to remind you to please vote for Nila Frye and Robert McPherson. Frye and McPherson are individuals who will advocate for preserving the historic core of our community, encouraging citizen input, building a strong relationship between the village and school district (currently meeting times conflict, village uses outdated school district data, and the village doesn't talk to the schools) and increasing transparency. Remember: you can vote for UP TO 3 people. If you choose only one or two, your vote still counts. Please make sure to fill in the oval for Nila and Robert on your ballot. To request a ballot by mail (you have until April 2nd to do so, though the earlier the better), go to www.myvote.wi.gov. Click on Vote Absentee on the left and fill in your information. Then, take a picture of your ID like passport or driver's license (smartphone photo or PDF scan works) and upload it. That's it! Make sure to help your elderly friends and neighbors who may not have phones or computers get ballots by mail. They are the most vulnerable population to COVID-19 and the fewer opportunities they have to go out for activities like voting, the better.
