We are about a month and a half away from the spring election and have some more information to share with you. First of all, Ann Lewandowski and Mary Heimbecker, the candidates we are endorsing for village board, have created Facebook pages for their campaigns. Check them out if you are on Facebook.

In addition, Ann and Mary will both be distributing yard signs throughout the community over the next few weeks. If you are interested in one for your yard, send us an email at keepdanerural@gmail.com. Addresses will not be used for any purpose other than helping you get a sign. The sign will be delivered and installed for you. If you live on one of the busier thoroughfares heading into Waunakee in Westport, Vienna, or Springfield, we will also accept those sign requests. We especially would like to help get signs out along the following more-traveled streets and highways:
- Main Street
- Century Avenue
- Madison Street
- South Street
- Division Street
- Woodland Drive
- Kopp Road
- Highway K (particularly between Highway 12 and Highway Q)
- Highway 113 (south and east of town)
- Highway 19
- Highway Q
- Easy Street
- Schumacher Road
- Mill Road
