Wattpad only has specific emojis allowed in message board posts, comments, replies and private messages. This drives people crazy, and it would be nice to have access to all emojis. 

For one thing, when someone is trying to be sarcastic, most of the time they show that with emojis. When the emojis don’t show, the reader assumes that they are serious and may get hurt by what the person posted. 

For another, in message board posts, when emojis don’t show up it can make it awkward, so no one replies. This may deceive the poster to think that they do not care about the thing that they posted. 

And really, the lack of emojis drives people insane. When we are trying to make a point, create a funny joke, express emotions, be sarcastic or anything else, having the emojis not show up is very annoying. Lots of people relate to that. 

To fix this problem, I have started this petition to force Wattpad to put all emojis available in text. It may not seem like a big deal; you may be thinking “get this girl outta here it’s just emojis” but after a while this problem starts to become a major distraction. 

Sign this petition to show your support to make Wattpad have access to all emojis and make it so that we do not hurt people or ourselves because of the lack.
