The uniform was created to make everyone feel comfortable as a whole unit. Without any thought as to the fact that us students feel uncomfortable being forced to wear one type of outfit. We want to express ourselves in a way we’re we feel normal. Even if the uniform was removed we’d still have a strict dress code against normal clothes like rips and shorts. Because of “shoulders and thighs” Because as people were “distracting “. Even though that view is only from the teachers/educators standpoint. As well as females are overly “sexualized” for showing skin. It’s our bodies and we want to feel secure in our bodies. Without dress code and uniforms students would feel better about attending school. So we want no more uniforms and no more dress codes.
