Subject: Urgent Request for Federal Assistance in the Search for Missing Juvenile Ja'NiyahMcMichael (Case)

Dear Federal Bureau of Investigation

             Chief Derrick Cannon

I am writing to you today, in my capacity as Cherise "Pebbles" Wilson, Executive NewsProducer of "Missing Lost And Trafficked," to formally request the immediate assistance of the

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the ongoing missing person case of Ja'Niyah McMichael.

Ja'Niyah, a 15-year-old female, was reported missing on August 12, 2024, from the 1900 block of Malcolm X Boulevard in Gary, Indiana.

A detailed petition outlining the critical need for a Water Search and Recovery (WSAR) operation has been submitted to Chief DerrickCannon of the Gary Police Department.

Summary of Critical Information and Justification for FBI Involvement:

My extensive reporting on Ja'Niyah's disappearance has uncovered highly disturbing and credible information that strongly suggests her remains may be located within the GrandCalumet River or the Little Calumet River in Gary, Indiana.

This information warrants immediate federal intervention due to its grave nature and potential interstate implications.

Key details necessitating FBI assistance include:

● Confession of Jeffrey Farmer: Jeffrey Farmer, a registered sex offender (also knownas Jesse Wayne) with a documented history of sexual assault charges in Illinois and current residency in Northwest Indiana, made a shocking confession via Facebook Messenger. Farmer alleged that Ja'Niyah McMichael was sold by her mother, Jasmine McMichael, to Antwon Butler to settle a crack cocaine debt. He further claimed that Ja'Niyah was subsequently thrown into the Grand Calumet River near Broadway Street in Gary, Indiana, in August 2024, after she informed Butler of her pregnancy.

Farmer's statement, "And they put her in the river back in August if nobody has found her yet they probably never will," implies multiple individuals were involved in this alleged act.

•Circumstantial Evidence and Threats: Videos obtained show the Gary Police Department responding to 9-1-1 calls from Dalia Guerrero, Ja'Niyah's maternal grandmother, on September 16, 2024, involving Nathaniel Walker, Kearra Bates, and their associates.

Ms. Guerrero also reported receiving threats from Nathaniel Walker and his wife, Yolanda Walker, when she attempted to search for Ja'Niyah in the 2800 block of Georgia Street.

This location is significant as the Grand Calumet River at 2862 Georgia Street features major utility pipelines, aligning with a potential disposal site.

Specific Requests for FBI Assistance:

Given the severity of these allegations, the potential for a federal crime, and the specialized  resources required, I respectfully request the FBI's immediate involvement and assistance in the

following areas:

1. Deployment of Underwater Search and Evidence Response Team (USERT): Weurge the FBI to deploy its Underwater Search and Evidence Response Team (USERT) to conduct a thorough and systematic search of the Grand Calumet River and Little Calumet River. Their advanced capabilities and expertise are crucial for a successful

recovery operation.

2. Interview of Jeffrey Mark Farmer: We request that the FBI conduct a comprehensive interview with Jeffrey Mark Farmer to corroborate his statements, understand how he

obtained such specific and disturbing details, and identify all individuals involved in the alleged disposal of Ja'Niyah McMichael.

3. Investigation of Interstate Criminal Activity: Given Farmer's history as a registered sex offender in Illinois and his current residency in Northwest Indiana, an investigation into potential interstate criminal activity related to Ja'Niyah's disappearance is warranted.

The urgency of this matter cannot be overstated. The potential loss of a child and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance demand the highest level of investigative resources. We believe that the FBI's involvement is critical to bringing justice for Ja'Niyah

McMichael and her family.

Thank you for your prompt attention

 to this extremely serious case.

Sincerely,

Cherise "Pebbles" Wilson
