The Municipal water supplied to residents of North Pondicherry is unfit for human use, it has been tested to be above 2200ppm, way beyond accepted levels and with high salinity therefore it is hazardous to health,  especially children's health. 

We, the residents of North  Pondicherry, urgently request the Municipality  to  rectify this problem,  especially as it constitutes a basic minimal amenity required on a daily basis. 

We have lived with deteriorating water quality for years now, and it is time to resolve this basic health issue.
