Ministry secretary- general Datuk Loo Took Gee said "A potential water crisis from 2014 to 2017."

Malaysia Water Association Ahmad Zahdi Jamil said "A water crisis will hit the country as early as 2014 if Malaysians continue to waste water daily."

Domestic, agricultural, and commercial consumers continued with their "habit of wasting and overuse of water." On average, each Malaysian consumed about 200 to 280 liters of water daily, which is very alarming. Malaysia's water sustainability index had fallen from 64 per cent in 1992 to 33 per cent in 2002.

If Malaysians do not start consuming water sparingly, water companies are projecting a daily shortage of 476 million liters in 2014.

Think wisely, do you want our children live in a country which has water crisis? Unsafe drinking water, inadequate availability of water for hygiene, drought, etc.
