A young boy (age 6) was chased with a sledgehammer then Shot by Le-Nguyen, for trying to retrieve his bike from in front of his home. The young boy was shot through the arm, and Le-Nguyen was released on a 10k bond after being charged with assault with intent to murder. This is not the first incident he has been involved in, but this is the first time he’s acted on his malicious intents. This petition is for the Prosecutors of Washtenaw county to charge him with exactly what this crime was, and that is a hate crime.
