On Wednesday June 2, an update to the plot map for the large lot on Debates/Stephanie St, (in between Patricia and Grandyle) will be going before the Zoning and Planning Committee. If approved, it will then go to the Washington City Council meeting on June 7. 

As it was explained by Alderman Brownfield, the proposal includes 28 of the 30 lots to be duplexes, similar to those constructed on Eagle by Central Intermediate/Grade School. 

While our neighborhood includes duplexes scattered throughout, for various reasons, it is not a popular choice among those who reside in the neighborhood for the whole development to be duplexes. There was also mention that these would NOT be owner occupied and be rental units.
