The students of Washington University are calling on administration officials to reopen Ursa's. Ursa's was a place where students could gather to study at any time, making it highly accessible and a great place to learn. 

Unfortunately, Ursa's closed for the remainder of this semester on November 2nd, removing yet another area for students to study and safely socialize. The reason given was that the Sally the Salad Robot had been relocated, and thus Ursa's no longer needed to remain open. However, it is extremely clear that Ursa's was far more than just a place for students to get salad. Its accessibility and decorations provided an escape from the lonely dorms, bland study pods, and crowded common areas found on campus.

Thus, we believe it is highly important to reopen Ursa's to restore the area as a key area to safely socialize and study.
