The Dukes of Hazzard was a family show that taught many a great deal in how to treat others how you would want to be treated, It NEVER portrayed racism of any kind. Now, people who have never seen a single second of the show are demanding the show be removed from TV and to models of the General Lee removed from store shelves. People are demanding the iconic flag that the car is known for having to be removed for misguided, and outdated lies. Fans are asking that is Warner Brothers is going to destroy a family friends show that millions of fans love, then give the rights to the show, and it merchandise to John Schneider and his film studio so that it can be preserved as it should be. DO NOT destroy our childhoods, let Schneider Studios be the owners to the rights of the Dukes of Hazzard so that fans can continue to enjoy the show they love as they remember it being. Yes, times change, but you CANNOT the past, if you dont like something, then dont watch it. However, millions of fans of all races loved the Dukes, and the General Lee, the car got more fan mail than any of the human stars of the show it was loved that much. Erasing history has to stop, those trying to do so to the Dukes have likely only ever seen the ridiculous film that ruined the image of the Dukes, it was so bad, the original stars wanted NOTHING to do with that travesty. That movie was NOT Dukes, it was TRASH. So release the rights to The Dukes of Hazzard to John Schneider.
