Release the lost hospital scene of The Shining

Release the lost hospital scene of The Shining
The Issue
In Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining, there was a scene in between the infamous photo scene and the frozen Jack scene featuring Stuart Ullman visiting Wendy and Danny in the hospital. While visiting Wendy in the hospital, he tells her that Jack’s body couldn’t be found. He then visits Danny and gives him the ball that Jack was throwing. The scene was cut from the film a week after it was released. Kubrick had some of his workers go to all of the theatres that were playing The Shining in order to cut the scene out of each reel in each theatre. The remaining footage is probably stored away in the Warner Bros. Archive. With this petition, I hope that enough people sign it so that Warner Bros. notices it, and if Warner Bros. notices it, they might consider releasing the footage to the public in the future. My name is Andrew Calcagno, I’m 16 years old, and I have been obsessed with The Shining and it’s meanings ever since I saw it for the first time with my family when I was 13. Kubrick cannot erase everything that he didn’t like out of existence, and it’s my lifelong goal to find as many lost Kubrick movie scenes as possible. I have a Twitter account in case anyone wants to DM me about this petition. The accounts name is Andrew Calcagno. I hope that all of us can convince Warner Bros. to release the scene.
