Release "Just the Ten of Us" on DVD

The Issue

In 1988, a TV show premiered on ABC called Just the Ten of Us. The show as a spin-off of the major hit, Growing Pains. The show was about Coach Graham Lubbock (Bill Kirchenbauer), his wife Elizabeth Lubbock (Deborah Harmon) and their 8 children who were played by the following: Wendy Lubbock (Brooke Theiss), Marie Lubbock (Heather Langenkamp), Cynthia "Cindy" Lubbock (Jamie Luner), Constance "Connie" Lubbock (JoAnne Willette), Sherry Lubbock (Heidi Zeigler), Graham "J.R." Lubbock, Jr. (Matt Shakman) and Harvey "The Baby" Lubbock (Jason and Jeremy Korstjens). When Graham loses his job and has to move to take a new position as coach to a Catholic boys school, (St. Augustine's Academy). He has to enroll his daughters in the all-boys school and quickly finds that they have more than learning on their minds and therefore mis-adventures often ensue making for amazing and hilarious television! The show won an Emmy and won the ASCAP Film and Television Music Award for Top TV Series in 1989. It was also nominated in 1990 under multiple categories, the most predominant being "Best Family Television Series". The show was cancelled, abruptly and not due to ratings, after 3 seasons. Warner Brothers owns the rights to the show but have failed to release it on DVD for the fans. In an email about this, Warner Brothers claims that the legal issues surrounding the DVD release are music rights. Music rights can be resolved easily and Warner is not wanting to do this. We need to show them that the demand is extremely high for this series to make it to DVD and be in all the fans homes. That's why I'm pursuing this so diligently. Thank you.
