Gremlins 2: The New Batch is the 1990 sequel to the 1984 film Gremlins, both of which have become classic films in today's pop culture. However, while Gremlins received a brand new 4K UHD release for its 35th anniversary in 2019, Gremlins 2: The New Batch hasn't been given any such treatment.

We've just passed the film's 30th anniversary, which was last year in 2020, and there's been no word on whether or not Gremlins 2: The New Batch will have a 4K UHD release to coincide with its predecessor.

This isn't just difficult for the fans that want to complete their Gremlins collection, but it's unfair to the beloved sequel itself. After all, the movie has gone on to become a highly beloved parody and sequel - and it's often considered to be one of, if not the best of its kind. With accolades like this, it's hard to believe the film isn't already remastered and available in the highest possible quality.

With a new TV series on the way, popular Mountain Dew commercials, and all sorts of merchandise keeping the brand alive - it only makes sense that the sequel to Gremlins should be given a new release.

As such, we the fans have signed this petition in an effort to see Gremlins 2: The New Batch released on 4K UHD by Warner Brothers.
