In 2016, Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s ex, accused Depp of beating/abusing her. London Court had taken this case. A few months ago, there were some audio tapes of Heard and Depp fighting that were released, seeming to prove Depp to be innocent and proving Heard had lied when she was actually the one abusing Depp. Even his exes before Heard defended him. If you listen to the audio, you can hear Heard saying, “No one will believe you since I am a woman,” to Depp. This allegation almost cost Depp the role of Jack Sparrow.
