Epilepsy Warning for It: Chapter Two

It: Chapter Two is bound to be a hit at the box office, but that comes with a very serious health risk to some viewers.

Photosensitive viewers of this film have been shocked to find that there are extreme strobe effects used throughout the movie (including extensively in the final act), and there has been no warning for them, and people are exposing themselves to a severe risk of seizures, migraines, nausea, and other effects of various photosensitive issues.

We are asking Warner Bros. Pictures to issue an epilepsy warning for this film, as The Walt Disney Company did last year with Incredibles 2. As shown last year, a film with positive reviews is not at risk of losing money over these warnings.

We are not asking for a new version of the film, or a sensory-friendly edit like Incredibles 2 got. Rather we just want a warning present, in a spot that everyone going to the theater to see It: Chapter Two can see.

On our various social media, as of 1pm Eastern Time on the second full day of its release, a tweet about this issue that we made, and screenshots of said tweet, have been shared over 6,000 times, and this number is growing very quickly.

Please take a moment to sign this petition, and ask Warner Bros. Pictures to issue an epilepsy warning for It: Chapter Two. This can save lives, and prevent moviegoers from having preventable medical issues.
