Ben Affleck is all wrong for the role of Batman, yes he's a decent actor and director that he has proven, but just isn't right for Batman. The reason for that is that is who people are going to see on the screen...Ben Affleck in a Bat-suit, NOT Batman,no matter how much he tries, and thats why it wont work no matter how they spend. If Warner Brothers and Zack Synder/Chris Nolan were looking for a more seasoned Batman( i debate that too though) then my 1st pic would be Anson Mount, he's relatively unknown but is great on "Hell on Wheels" which shows he has the grit to play Batman, is in good shape. As Bruce Wayne there a few other tv shows and movies that show him a refined man in a suit(i.e Smallville, Law & Order, Safe,etc) The guy can act, with his souther accent and grit on Hell on Wheels to play a crazy ex-boyfriend doctor on Smallville. Now Jeffery Dean Morgan has proven his worth. He was great on tv show Supernatural as "John Winchester" and killed in as "the Comedian" in the Watchman...which may be the only problem there he played a DC hero already but that movie showed him as a young fit hero to an old one as well, which right there is what new Batman is going to be or what WB is looking for. The guy has grit to pull off Batman, his voice alone his perfect for the role, and can pull off the Bruce Wayne fasade with no problem.So please reconsider the cast of Batman/Bruce Wayne for one of these two....either actor would give a well remembered performance that Idare say may be better than Christian Bale or just as good. I have that much faith that either one would excel.
