The Issue

With Disney starting an "Oz" film series with "Oz The Great And Powerful", it would be best if Disney works with WB in order to make this film series be set in continuity with "The Wizard of Oz"[1939], and to make sequels to "The Wizard of Oz"[1939], so that Disney won't eventually do their own film version of the original "Oz" story, because "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] is such a classic and is considered to be the definitive version of the original "Oz" story. If WB and Disney work out a deal through which they split the profits made from these projects by 50%, WB gets the distribution rights to the sequels to "The Wizard of Oz"[1939], Disney gets the distribution rights to the sequels to "Oz The Great And Powerful", WB gets streaming rights to all of the projects made through this partnership, and Disney gets streaming rights to the sequels to "Oz The Great And Powerful", Disney can set "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] in continuity with their "Oz The Great And Powerful" film series and, after making a 2-part sequel to "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] that's titled "The Wizard of Oz 2", can do 13 additional sequels to "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] that are based on the 13 book sequels to the original "Oz" book("The Wonderful Wizard of Oz") that were written by L Frank Baum. Then, there should be a big-budget, HBO Max original live-action TV series that's used to adapt all of the "Oz" stories written after L Frank Baum's death that are officially part of the original "Oz" canon. It should be established that Glinda is the Good Witch of The North & South. Through this partnership, a film set in this universe that's based on & named after the L Frank Baum book "The Life And Adventures of Santa Claus" should be made.

In "Oz The Great And Powerful 2", Munchkinland and the Emerald City should somehow get damaged, which should lead to them getting remodeled during the repair process, so that the design discrepancies between how they look in "Oz The Great And Powerful" and how they look in "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] will have been dealt with. In this film, something should happen to the Wicked Witch of the West(AKA Theodora) that causes her skins shade of green to change, causes her to get a black mole on her chin, and causes her facial appearance to change, so that the discrepancies between how she looks in "Oz The Great And Powerful" and how she looks in "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] will have been dealt with.

"The Wizard of Oz 2" should be a 2-parter, with Part 2 being released 5 months after Part 1, and it should be based on the 1990 animated "The Wizard of Oz" TV series, with story elements from the book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" that weren't used in "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] being used. "The Wizard of Oz 2 - Part 1" should be 2 hours & 4 minutes long(without counting the opening & closing production logo sequences and the opening & closing credits sequences) and "The Wizard of Oz 2 - Part 2" should be 2 hours & 14 minutes long(without counting the opening & closing production logo sequences and the opening & closing credits sequences).

There should be a definitive Blu-ray release of "The Wizard of Oz"[1939] that includes all of the previous extras from all of the previous home video releases of the film, "Treasure: The Search For The Ruby Slippers", and all previous host segments from TV airings of the film(including all of those by Turner Classic Movies), as well as the option to watch the film with the deleted bit from Scarecrow's introduction scene added in, and the option to watch the film with not only that bit added in, but also a photorealistic computer-animated recreation of the destroyed "Jitterbug" deleted scene(for which the existing audio of the original scene should be used) added in.

For all future home video releases, digital platform releases, streaming service releases, theatrical releases, and TV airings of "Oz The Great And Powerful", the scene featuring the Cowardly Lion should be digitally altered so that the Cowardly Lion has the anthropomorphic appearance that he has in "The Wizard of Oz"[1939].
