In the summer of 2016, Showtime aired Roadies. Over ten episodes, we got to follow along with the unsung heroes of rock n roll: the tour roadies. The guys who rig the lights and handle the instruments, the guys who lean over the soundboard for perfection, and those who make the perfect espresso.
Music legend Cameron Crowe and TV Show legend JJ Abrams gave us a show that celebrated music in the purest form; from the hearts and souls of those to the side of the stage.

Roadies, much like its characters, had a small band of followers but still one with passion. We followed along that summer of "16", our grieving hearts, with holes made by the deaths of heroes like David Bowie and Glenn Frey, were comforted by the story Crowe told us that sad summer. We watched from the start of the set to the final Load Out.

Unfortunately, we were not given more than those 10 episodes. While having that show canceled was sad, it was made worst by the fact that the show is hardly available to see anywhere. No DVD, no streaming site, or even on a digital store.

We ask Warner Bros. and Showtime to work towards a simple goal: that the show is made available to stream/own. While a second season is unlikely, it would be a salve to at least have the series where we, the loyal fans, can rewatch it over and over, re-living those magical 10 hours of music.

While it is easier to say "it is what it is" and move on, I don't believe that this is the time. If we can't see SHB on their European tour leg, at least allow us to watch the Capture the Flag tour again.
