Warner Bros: Ressurect Pepe le Pew le Skunk NOW!
The Issue
...aka No Pew, No Peace.
Out of complete surprise and without any fanfares, Pepe le Pew himself had officially banished from Space Jam: A New Legacy. Officially announced by Malcolm D. Lee, the team decided to boycott him from the film after siding with Charles M. Blow's beliefs that he'd "normalised rapism".
This announcement ticked off many fans of the Looney Tunes universe, specifically actor Greice Santo as she was set to have a scene where holds back le Pew's advances towards her, but said scene was completely cut from the final product.
But since there has been confirmation that he's been cast out of the franchise altogether, we don't know if he'll ever show his face again. And that's where this petition comes in. The aim here is to get Warner Brothers to change their minds about the debonair skunk, after which he may presumably make an appearance in Looney Tunes Cartoons. That way, he can remain part of the main cast and be cherished for many generations to come.
