"Four years ago I launched this petition calling for a world without war. Almost 400 people supported it. Today, with conflicts increasing in many parts of the world, I believe it is time to revive this initiative and build a real global movement for peace."

War no more! Peace and Freedom for all. My aim is to build a new organized movement in order to visit the Heads of State asking to abolish all type of war and proposing alternative solutions. We can start negotiate to begin reducing weapons and stopping conflicts. Il mio obiettivo è quello di creare un movimento organizzato con il compito di andare dai Capi di Stato per chiedere l'abolizione di tutti i tipi di guerra e per proporre soluzioni alternative. Dobbiamo negoziare per cominciare a ridurre gli armamenti e fermare i conflitti.

War is not our destiny but it should be considered as a problem to solve. As Gino Strada (war surgeon) said when he received the “Right Livelihood Award 2015”: “War, just like deadly diseases, has to be prevented and cured. Violence is not the right medicine: it does not cure the disease, it kills the patient.” Abolishing war is urgently needed and achievable.

We need to believe that something extraordinary is possible.
