The nation is mourning after the tragic passing yesterday of Sir Captain Tom Moore - the 100 year old WW2 veteran who raised over £32 million for the NHS.
Last year you were part of a movement of over 1 million people that successfully campaigned for Captain Sir Tom to be knighted.
Now people from across the country have been calling for a tribute to honour this national hero’s life - from a statue to a national bank holiday.
Here are some of the campaigns that have been started, will you add your name to any of the petitions calling for a fitting tribute to Captain Sir Tom?
- Hold a state funeral for Captain Sir Tom Moore
- Statue for Sir Captain Tom
- Permanent memorial for Captain Sir Tom Moore in Trafalgar Square
- Name a hospital in honour of Captain Sir Tom Moore
- Vote for Captain Tom Moore Day - A Bank Holiday with a random act of kindness
- Minute's Silence for Captain Sir Tom Moore
- Get a 50p struck and in circulation for the hero that is Sir Captain Tom Moore
