THE SUPERPOWERS WAY IS DEAD.

Weapons and war are world-wide. The Superpowers bluster in their militarism and new wars come each year. They are despoiling the planet. Weapons are the main problem, designed to attack and kill. They are everywhere, aggressively sold by big companies. They support dictators, destroy, have made 120m war refugees, start war after war and kill hundreds of thousands of dear people. The Superpowers are stuck, and we have to walk round them with a peaceful way of running the earth. With some thought it is not difficult.

WE CAN DO DISARMAMENT. The process of Full World Disarmament (FWD) is not difficult. We all disarm, as we do within nations. All states cut militaries by a fifth for five years with open inspection and arms firms subsidised to repurposed, until it is all gone.  Weapons become criminal as they are in states now and war is impossible. States who might not comply are taxed with high tariffs to pay for the cost of arming against them. We all say we want disarmament. Well, this is it, upheld by law and fully policed. The UN can do it, if it has the backing. We are the backing.

 It saves 5-10% of world GDP, cuts CO2, ends poverty, refugees, trauma, destruction and silly power strutting. It ends all wars. It brings peace on earth.

We all stand for world peace - big problem - big solution. The hardest part is the start, getting out of the media fog of Superpower militarism, but faith, your faith, moves this mountain. THE FULLER VERSION.

MILITARISM AND WAR ruin the world. Since 1900 they have killed 200m people, traumatized two billion and destroyed hundreds of millions of homes. We have had two World Wars, a long Cold War and some two hundred wars down to Russia/Ukraine and Gaza/Israel now. Wars and the military have  impoverished every household on the planet by about $250,000.  Wars keep coming.  Weapons are attack-defence and provoke them. Half the world is under military dictators. We have a 120m war refugees. A destroys B and B destroys A. There is maybe $400bn of damage in Ukraine and Gaza in the last three years. It is a broken system.

THE SUPERPOWERS ARE STUCK.

We are locked in the problem; arms seem the only option. "Arms will give us peace" we are told, but they bring wars. The Superpowers are stuck, building for the next enemy, selling arms round the world, dominating the United Nations, and doing do wars and rumours of wars. They back the wrong kind of power, and so WE have to make international law-abiding peace. They resist disarmament, but WE bring it about, because arming will devastate the world again, if we do not act. How can full world disarmament be carried out? A little thought shows it can be practical, safe and relatively easy.

THE PROCESS OF FULL WORLD DISARMAMENT. 

It needs a process that everybody understands. It is a big problem, and it needs a big solution. We do full world disarmament, not ineffective bits.  

1. THE DISARMING PROCESS. We cut ALL forces, military budgets and destroy all arms by 20% each year until they are all gone in five years. Everybody understands what is going on. Open inspection, unlimited surveillance and UN policing make it transparent and safe.

2. NO NEW WEAPONS. Arms companies end all weapons production and are subsidised to repurpose 80%, 60%, 40%, 20% by their governments. Having, selling or using weapons becomes a criminal offence, as in domestic law.

3. CLOSE DOWN TERRORISM. Terrorists are offered buyback on their arms. If they resist, they are disarmed by UN forces (which contract as the arms decline). Dictators get a pension and a home.

4. COMPLY OR ELSE. Any states which do not comply pay for the cost of arming against them in world-wide heavy external tariffs until they fall in line.

5. INTERNATIONAL LAW RULES. Military damage requires full reparations backed by all states. War can never pay.

It requires a year to mobilize and plan and five to complete. By 2031 the world is disarmed. The military are not in charge; we tell them what to do and they do it. There are 30m new skilled workers for the world. All states say they want peace; this is it, practical and safe. Enemies recede. We fully disarm the world of weapons, destruction and mass killing and the world heals. 

HOW DO WE GET THERE?

Given the Superpowers dominance, how is it done? The only answer is worldwide popular pressure. At present, people are fatalist, because war begets war. But you can open up mass popular support. We ordinary people vote for a UN referendum on world disarmament in our thousands and millions until it is unstoppable. Then, the world votes for full world disarmament on such a scale that it is unstoppable.

 If we are ten thousand, people think: this may make sense. You can be in this ground-breaking group. If we are a million, the whole world knows: perhaps this can be done. If we are a billion, full world peaceful disarmament is unstoppable, the most popular policy on the planet. Your vote starts the process, getting it moving until it goes through to full world popular support and the UN.

The UN Nuclear Abolition Treaty shows wider political will is already  strong. Your votes now, when the possibility is unthought, are the key ones, opening the door. You act, to see through to the big solution. Little bits of faith move mountains, and this is a mountain. We have waited too long to do this.

We vote for it together. We fight fighting, not one another. We make world disarmed peace - like it is within most states - without weapons. It is practical world democratic politics. We even cuts human made CO2 by 5-10%, addressing that other great threat to humanity. The World's Big Problem finally meets the Big Gentle Solution.
