We the family friends and community are asking for help and support to get our loved one released from WALTON CO JAIL in Georgia
Elicia Rivera was charged with a violent crime 6/8/20. She was a victim of that crime herself. She cooperated just to have them turn around and charge her when they should have helped her. She is a VERY loved mother , Godmother, sister, daughter and friend. She has the support of the community behind her.
Last month (MAY 2021) she was diagnosed with cancer. Epitithiloid Hemangioendothilioma. This specific cancer is EXTREMELY RARE. So rare that no specific treatment has been established. The jail waited 10 months to take this serious and refered her to the cancer center delaying time sensitive life saving treatment. After her 1st surgery a month ago she was denied pain medicine by the jail for the days after surgery they even administered a ,medicine they know she has an allergy to. She now has a second surgery and radiation and chemo pending.
We are demanding this injustice be corrected and she be allowed to go home on bond to fight her case ad her cancer so she has the best chance of survival. Or better yet the charges be dropped being she was wrongly charged to begin with. 

This also makes it harder for VICTIMS to come forward because they may be scared of being in the same situation. Please help us bring home ELICIA!!!
